THE MCSF RESPONSE TO TERRORISM
In addition to providing support for the children of former Marines who lost their lives in the tragedies of September 11, 2001, the MCSF has pledged to award up to $10,000 for higher education to every child of a Marine killed in combat during the war on terrorism. Click on this link to see the policy adopted by the Board of Directors. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please click on the "Donate Now" button at the top of this page.
CALLING ALL ALUMNI!!
We're looking for former students who have received scholarships over the past four decades. We would like to know what you've done with your life! (Don't worry - we're not going to take the scholarship back if you haven't made it into "Who's Who.") If you or someone you know has received our scholarships in the past, please let us know how we can contact the scholarship recipient. We would like to share some of your stories on our web site and in publications, but will not use your names without your permission.
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation of volunteer men and women dedicated to providing financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving sons and daughters of United States Marines and children of former Marines in their pursuit of higher education.
All of us in the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation continue to be profoundly grateful and deeply appreciative of the tremendous support that we have received to help us carry out the foundation's purposes.

Our dedicated cadre of volunteers across America, and the individuals, corporations, small businesses, organizations, and other foundations who generously support our efforts, made 2002 another banner year for the foundation. From the revenues generated by the five scholarship balls, the golf tournaments, and other fundraising events, contributions, and grants, the foundation was able to award over $1.5 million in scholarships to 848 students for the 2002-2003 academic year.

On behalf of the board of directors, the officers, and all of the members of the foundation, a sincere THANK YOU to all of you who helped make 2002 another banner year. It marks the eleventh successive year that the foundation authorized over a million dollars in financial assistance to deserving young people, the sons and daughters of Marines and of former Marines.

There are a number of notices on the Members Page, and you are encouraged to take a few moments to visit! For those of you who want to know more about this "all volunteer" organization, please contact the foundation headquarters and request our most recent annual report. Also, please note the updated Scholarship Ball and Golf Tournament information.

The foundation relies on the continued generosity of individuals, other foundations, and corporate America for support. If you would like to learn how you can help, please look at the page entitled Opportunities for You to Provide Support.
